Indonesia Begedil Hack: Making Begedil using French Fries
Potato lovers, unite! This time, we’re bringing one of our favourite Malay foods to you — Begedil.
Begedil is traditionally made by mashing boiled potatoes, mixing in savoury minced beef, then frying balls of it to golden perfection. Instead of potatoes, we used frozen french fries which was a quick and tasty hack!
Protip from our Muslim friends: Pair some begedil with rice and other sides for a hearty Iftar meal!
