Almonds are highly nutritious and are a rich source of healthy fats, protein, fibre, vitamins (E and B), minerals (including magnesium, calcium, and iron) and antioxidants.
Use it as a spread or as a drizzle over your overnight oats (we have a recipe coming soon!)
Khalil added his home-made date syrup as a natural sweetener which is optional, but highly recommended. You can use vanilla extract, maple syrup, dates, or any other sweetener or flavouring of your choice.
Storage tips: Keep it in a jar and store it in the refrigerator. Recommend to finish it in a week to retain freshness.
Remember to stir the almond butter before each use. as spread may separate over time.
