MAGGI® Sambal Fried Rice
Back at it with <10min meals! This time using MAGGI® Sambal Tumis Paste and just one pan, whipping up Sambal Fried Rice for lunch has never been easier.
There are so many hacks to frying rice; our favourite is to use overnight rice and it’ll soak up all the flavours in the pan… DELICIOUS.

120g Cooked rice | |
One Boneless chicken thigh (skin off and cut into small cubes) | |
½tbsp Cornstarch | |
½tbsp Light Soy sauce | |
2Eggs (beaten) | |
Salt to taste | |
Pepper to taste | |
40g French beans (cut into small bite size) | |
1packet MAGGI® Sambal Tumis Paste | |
1tbsp Kecap manis | |
1tbsp Minced garlic | |
1tbsp Minced shallots | |
1tbsp Chopped chilies |
Directions
1.
Season chicken pieces with soy sauce and cornstarch, set aside.

Heat up wok, drizzle with some oil, toss in minced garlic and shallots and stir fry until fragrant.

Add in chicken pieces and stir fry until fragrant and cooked.

Add in french beans and continue to stir fry until cooked and color changes to bright green.

Quickly add in cooked rice and mix well. Push all ingredients aside.

Pour in beaten eggs, continue to stir fry until cooked. Combine all ingredients together and mix well, push aside.

Add in one packet of MAGGI® Sambal Tumis Paste and kecap manis. Continue to stir fry and mix well with all ingredients in the wok. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Sprinkle with chopped chillies and give it a quick mix.

Dish up and serve hot.
