This easy ginger and scallion beef stir-fry dish recipe makes the perfect healthy meal for the family – low carb, low calorie, maximum nutrition!

A classic Chinese dish of tender, juicy beef served with a hot piping rice bowl – such an easy, comforting dish that even fussiest of eaters will enjoy.

350g Sliced beef
2stalks Scallions
100g Ginger slices
2tbsp Water
1tbsp Shaoxing wine
1tbsp Dark soy sauce
1tbsp Light soy sauce
1/2tsp Sugar
1tsp Sesame oil
2tbsp Cooking oil
1/2tbsp Oyster sauce
1tbsp Light soy sauce
1 1/2tbsp Shaoxing wine
1tsp Sugar
1/4tsp Baking soda
1tbsp Egg white
1tbsp Cornstarch
2tsp Sesame oil




In a mixing bowl, combine all marinate ingredients together. Add in beef slices, mix well and coat evenly. Leave it in the chiller to marinate for at least 30 minutes.

In a medium size cooking pan, heat enough oil to give the beef slices a quick deep fry. Drain and set aside.

In a pan add 2 tbsp of cooking oil, stir fry the ginger slices until fragrant. Quickly add in water, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce and sugar, mix well.

Add in beef slices, scallions, Shaoxing wine and sesame oil. Stir to coat evenly.
Mark as complete

Serve hot with rice.
