Chilled Tofu with Century Egg – 凉拌皮蛋豆腐

Tofu is absolutely delicious when eaten chilled in flavour, and the use of Vitasoy Organic Sprouted Tofu makes it even better. When paired with the taste of century eggs, it creates a unique blend of flavour and texture. The final touch of adding floss adds an interesting layer to this dish!

Ingredients

  1. Ingredients:

  2. 1 block Vitasoy Organic Sprouted Tofu - Steam

  3. 2-3 century eggs (peeled)

  4. 2 tbsp chopped spring onions

  5. 1 tbsp chopped chilies

  6. 50g pork / chicken floss

  7. Fresh coriander for garnish

  8. Sauce:

  9. 1 tbsp light soy sauce

  10. 1 tbsp sesame oil

  11. 1 tsp fish sauce

  12. 1 tbsp water

  13. Pinch of white pepper

  14. ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Mix 1 tbsp light soy sauce,

  2. 1 tbsp sesame oil,

  3. 1 tsp fish sauce,

  4. 1 tbsp water,

  5. pinch of white pepper,

  6. and ¼ tsp salt

  7. Add 2 tbsp chopped spring onions

  8. 1 tbsp chopped chilies

  9. Mix well and set aside

  10. Cut 1 block Vitasoy Organic Sprouted Tofu - Steam into 5 slices

  11. Flip over onto a deep plate

  12. Roughly chop 2-3 peeled century eggs and add to tofu

  13. Drizzle sauce mixture over tofu

  14. Garnish with fresh coriander

  15. and 50g of pork / chicken floss
