In a wokpan over medium heat, add in 2 tbsp of cooking oil. Add in dried shrimp and stir fry until fragrant. Add in minced pork and stir fry.

In a mixing bowl, add glutinous rice flour. Add in water in 3 parts. Add half of the hot water first and mix evenly. Add the next half and mix. Add the last room temperature water and mix. Once dough starts to form, knead the dough. Knead until the dough is smooth and slightly elastic.

Divide the dough evenly, about 30-35g balls. Flatten balls and add filling in the middle. Wrap filling in dough and seal. Dab some water with your fingers if needed.

To cook tang yuans, add them without overcrowding into a pot of boiling water slowly. Stir constantly to prevent them from sticking. Once the tang yuans float about 5 minutes later, transfer them into a cold ice bath.

To make the treasure pot, add chicken stock, water, oyster sauce, light soy sauce and shaoxing wine into a claypot. Bring to boil.

Add in dried mushrooms, chestnuts, carrots and daikon. Cook for about 30 minutes on low.
