Air Fryer Chinese Style Pork Ribs – 中式排骨

Ingredients:

  1. 1kg Pork spare ribs

  2. 2 tbsp Hoisin sauce

  3. 2 tbsp Honey

  4. 2 tbsp Light soya sauce

  5. 1 tsp Dark soya sauce

  6. 2 tbsp Shaoxing wine

  7. 1 tsp 5 Spice powder

  8. 1 tsp White pepper

  9. 10g grated Ginger

  10. 2 cloves Grated garlic

  11. 2 tbsp Sugar

  12. 200ml Water

Garnish:

  1. Roasted sesame seeds

  2. Spring onions

Steps:

  1. Add all ingredients into a large mixing bowl along with pork ribs that have been cut. Cover with cling foil and marinate for 2 hours or overnight.

  2. Add all ingredients into a large wok, bring to boil and leave to braise on low heat for 30 minutes.

  3. Remove cover and cook ribs until sauce is thick and slightly caramelized.

  4. Once done, transfer individual pork ribs into an air fryer and air fry for 5-10 minutes at 200°C.

  5. Once done, garnish with toasted sesame seeds and spring onions and serve.
