Baked Miso Salmon – 烤味噌三文鱼

Baked miso salmon, this recipe so simple to make and tasty, it’s bound to make your Christmas dinner fuss free this year. The miso marinade is a perfect match for a fish oil rich fish like salmon, just prepare the marinade pop in the salmon fillet which you guys can order from our friends at dishthefish which are prep and ready to use.   1. 1 whole salmon fillet

  2. 240g shiro miso

  3. 80ml mirin

  4. 80ml shoyu

  5. 80ml sake

  6. 1 tbsp minced garlic

  7. Shredded leeks

  8. Lemon wedges


  1. Mix in a bowl 240g shiro miso, 80ml mirin, 80ml shoyu, 80ml sake and 1 tbsp minced garlic

  2. Score skin on salmon fillet

  3. In a deep plate add half the marinade, submerge salmon fillet in marinade and add the rest on top

  4. Refrigerate and let it marinated for 4 hours at least

  5. Bake in 180°C oven for 20-25 minutes depending on fillet thickness

  6. Serve with lemon wedges and shredded leeks
