Air Fryer Tandoori Chicken

Tender juicy chicken soaked in a marinade bursting with flavour and spice. Accompanied with a Mint Chutney from scratch, this Tandoori Chicken is a must try.

4 pieces Chicken leg | |
1/2 cup Yogurt | |
2 tbsp Red Chilli Powder | |
1 tsp Garam Marsala | |
1 tsp Kasuri Methi (dried Fenugreek leaves) | |
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder | |
1/2 tsp Cumin powder | |
1/2 tsp Coriander powder | |
1 tsp Salt | |
1 tbsp Grated ginger | |
1 tbsp Grated garlic | |
1 tbsp Lemon juice | |
3 tbsp Cooking oil | |
Lime | |
Coriander | |
Sliced onions |
Mint Chutney
1 cup Mint leaves | |
1/2 cup Coriander leaves | |
1 tsp Sugar | |
1/2 tsp Salt | |
1/2 tsp Cumin powder | |
1/2 tsp Chaat Masala powder | |
2 Green chillies | |
2 cloves Garlic | |
1 cup Yogurt |
Directions

In a large mixing bowl add all ingredients under Tandoori marinade and mix well.

Score chicken leg pieces and add them into the marinade, mix and coat evenly. Leave to marinate for 1 hour.

Transfer chicken pieces into an air fryer and air fry at 200°C for 40 minutes, flipping them over at the 20 minute mark.

While it is cooking we can make the Mint Chutney. Add mint, coriander, sugar, salt, cumin, chaat masala, green chili, garlic, a bit of the yogurt into a food processor and blend until just smooth.

Whisk rest of the yogurt until smooth and add mint chutney into the yogurt. Mix well.

Serve chicken together with Mint chutney.
