Stir Fry Basil Chicken

Pad Krapow Gai aka Stirred Fried Basil Thai Chicken is the signature Thai dish!
This fast and easy recipe just requires prepping the ingredients, giving them a quick stir fry and you are done!
Love the balance between the heat from the chili padi and the sharp contrast of the sweet soy sauce.

4cloves garlic (chopped)
3 shallots
4chilli padi
2tbsp veg oil
200g of minced chicken thigh
tbsp fish sauce
1tbsp sweet soy sauce
dash of white pepper
1tsp sugar
20g Sweet Basil leaves

Directions

1.

Chop 4 cloves garlic and 3 shallots
Mark as complete

Chop and grind 4 chili padis
Mark as complete

Cut up 20 g Sweet Basil leaves
Mark as complete

Add 2 tbsp veg oil to wok
Mark as complete

Add garlic and shallots and fry till fragrant
Mark as complete

add 200 g minced chicken thigh, break it up and stir fry

Add chili padi, 1½ tbsp fish sauce, 1 tbsp sweet soy sauce and mix well

Add 1 tsp sugar and dash of white pepper

Toss in sweet basil leaves, cook for another 15 secs and serve
