With our recipe, you can easily make your very own steamed tofu so soft it literally melts away in your mouth.

Ingredients

200g minced pork (30% fat)
¼tsp salt
¼tsp sugar
1tsp oyster sauce
1tsp sesame oil
1tbsp cornstarch
1egg white
3 eggs
250ml unsweetened soya bean milk
½tsp chicken stock granule
¼tsp salt
1stalk spring onion (chopped)
80g XO sauce
30g crispy meat floss

Directions

1.

Mix 150g minced pork (30% fat), ¼ tsp salt, ¼ tsp sugar, 1 tsp oyster sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp cornstarch and 1 egg white.
Mark as complete

Marinate meat mixture for 15 minutes.
Mark as complete

Mix 80g XO sauce and 30g crispy meat floss. Set aside.
Mark as complete

Whisk 3 eggs, 250ml unsweetened soya bean milk, ½ tsp chicken stock granule and ¼ tsp salt.

Prepare a steamer on medium heat.
Mark as complete

Spread minced meat mixture 1½ cm thick on a steaming plate.

Steam for 10 minutes, or until cooked.

Remove from steamer and strain egg mixture on top.
Mark as complete

Steam on high heat for 3 minutes. Turn off fire, let it rest for 8 minutes. Do not remove the cover.

After 8 minutes, remove it from the steamer.

Sprinkle XO meat floss over it.

Garnish with chopped spring onion.
