Snow Pear and Red Dates Raindrop Cake – 雪梨红枣水滴蛋糕

Cooling and refreshing, snow pear and red dates are a great way to promote overall wellness, so we’ve come up with TWO different easy to do recipes using Nutriwell’s new Snow Pear with Red Dates drink!

We added osmanthus flowers for the osmanthus jelly, to easily make it at home. The rainbow cake, also known as “Mizu Shingen Mochi”, was originally made from water and tastes like rain, while our variation is nice and cooling, with the taste of snow pear and red dates, served with thinly cut pear slices.

Both being a breeze to make, this will be a fantastic recipe for a hot sunny afternoon!

  1. 500ml Nutriwell snow pear & red date

  2. 18g instant jelly powder

  3. 2 pears (cut into thin slices)

  4. Ice ball mould


  1. Heat 500ml Nutriwell snow pear & red date in a pot.

  2. Once boiling stir in instant jelly powder until they are completely dissolved.

  3. Pour into a heat proof measuring jug and let it cool until warm to touch.

  4. Fill ice ball mould with mixture

  5. Refrigerate for 3 hours or until it sets.

  6. Layer pear slices to foam a circle, serve with raindrop cake.
