Corned Pork Bacon Rolls

A simple recipe for anytime of the day, this recipe consists of everyone’s favourite, BACON!
We used the Chargrill Corned Pork from Kelly’s for this recipe – it’s gluten, MSG, trans fat free and is given the healthier choice label. All you need to do is to mince the meat up and mix it well with onions, carrots, parsley and saute it with black pepper. Add mozzarella cheese, roll it in good ol’ bacon, bake it and bam! An easy snack for your afternoons or late night suppers!

Ingredients

Adjust Servings
1can Kelly's Chargrill Corned Pork
½an onion (finely diced)
30g carrots (finely diced)
2tbsp chopped parsley
¼cup mozzarella cheese
12slices streaky bacon
1tbsp olive oil
Black pepper to taste
Mayonnaise (optional)

Directions

1.

Diced ½ an onion and 30g carrots finely
Mark as complete
2.

Chopped 2 tbsp of parsley
Mark as complete
3.

Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan
Mark as complete
4.

Add onions and saute on low heat until it turn translucent, then add carrots
Mark as complete
5.

Minced 1 can Kelly's Chargrill Corned Pork in a bowl and add to pan
Mark as complete
6.

Saute until fragrant, add black pepper to taste.
Mark as complete
7.

Mix in ¼ cup mozzarella cheese and transfer to a bowl
Mark as complete
8.

To slice of streaky bacon, add 1 tbsp of the mixture and roll
Mark as complete
9.

Repeat for the rest, you will get about 12 bacon rolls

10.

Place the rolls on a tray lined with baking paper
Mark as complete
11.

Bake in the oven at 180 degrees C for 20-25 minutes
Mark as complete
12.

Remove and serve with a side of mayonnaise (optional)
