Air Fryer Chicken Thighs Marinated 3 Ways

Meal prep made easy! Buy a pack of frozen chicken thighs, marinate them 3 ways and have your week’s meals settled. These marinades are the perfect way to dress up the plain old chicken thigh – also a definite crowd pleaser.

Air frying chicken thighs have never been easier with these 3 marinades:

1. Thai Style Chicken Thigh

2. 5 Spice Roast Chicken Thigh

Ingredients:

    Thai Style Chicken Thigh:

    1. 2 pieces Chicken Thigh

    2. 2 cloves Garlic (crushed)

    3. 10g Ginger (crushed)

    4. 1 stalk Lemongrass (finely minced)

    5. 1 stalks Chinese parsley (finely chopped)

    6. 1-2 Chilli padi (chopped)

    7. 2 tbsp Fish sauce

    8. ½ tsp Salt

    9. 1 tbsp Brown sugar

    10. Juice from 1 lime

    11. Garnish with lime wedges

    5 Spice Roast Chicken Thigh:

    1. 2 pieces Chicken Thigh

    2. 2 cloves Garlic (crushed)

    3. 10g Ginger (crushed)

    4. ½ tbsp Hua Tiao Wine

    5. ½ tbsp Oyster sauce

    6. 1 tbsp Light soy sauce

    7. ½ tsp Sesame oil

    8. ½ tbsp Sugar

    9. ½ tsp Five spice powder

    10. ½ tsp White pepper powder

    Mala Roast Chicken Thigh:

    1. 2 pieces Chicken Thigh

    2. 2 cloves Garlic (crushed)

    3. 10g Ginger (crushed)

    4. 2 tbsp Mala paste

    5. 1 tsp Black vinegar

    6. 1 tbsp Hua Tiao Wine

    7. ½ tsp Sesame oil

    8. 1 tsp Sugar

    9. Salt to taste

    Steps:

    1. For each ingredient set, add all ingredients into a mixing bowl and chicken thighs. Mix well and leave to marinate for 30 minutes.

    2. Remove from the mixing bowl and add to the air fryer, Air fry at 180°C for around 10 minutes.

    3. Serve with rice and cabbage.
