1. Old Cucumber Soup

2. One Pot Chicken and Rice with Mushroom
Opening up your rice cooker, the first thing that youll notice about this dish is how green it is. With Chye Sim, chives and ginger, every bite is incredibly refreshing and fragrant. The chicken thigh is marinated with oyster sauce, light soy sauce, white pepper and just a touch of sesame oil nothing too greasy or oily. We used canned button mushrooms in this recipe, but you may also use rehydrated dried mushrooms or a different mushroom of your choice.

3. Teochew Steamed White Pomfret
Packed with flavour yet low in calories, this recipe takes as little as 25 minutes to prepare. In fact, steaming this any longer than 10 minutes puts your fish at risk of drying out and overcooking. When ready, youll really be able to taste the freshness of the fish, while enjoying the aromatic flavours of the ginger slices, mushrooms and salted plums.
