What’s more, with the right recipes, the quality and flavour of food can be as if you’ve spent hours toiling in the kitchen. We’ve compiled a list of 16 Fuss-Free Air-Fryer Recipes before, and here are 10 more fast and easy recipes you can easily prepare with just an air-fryer or a rice cooker:

Air-Fryer

1. Sio Bak

If you’re a fan of crispy Sio Bak, but don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen, then this air-fryer sio bak recipe is a game-changer. It’ll save you so much time, and give you an even golden-brown skin on the meat.

To make sure that the pork belly skin has that crunchy crackling, poke holes in the skin, then rub salt onto it. Then, let it marinate in the fridge for a few hours or overnight. Afterwards, simply place the pork belly in the air-fryer, let it work its magic, and it’s done. So easy!

2. Tandoori Chicken

Our next air-fryer recipe, Tandoori Chicken, is bursting with bold, spicy flavors and can easily be made in your air-fryer for a fuss-free meal. We took inspiration from the classic Indian dish and simplified the process, making it accessible for anyone to make at home.

Start by marinating your chicken with a blend of yogurt and spices, then pop it in the air fryer and let it cook for 40 minutes, turning it over at the 20-minute mark. The result? Tender, flavorful chicken with crispy edges that will leave you wanting more.

Looking to level up the dish? We also included a Mint Chutney recipe which is spicy and has a refreshing aroma that pairs really well with the smokey chicken.

Put chopped and seasoned broccoli in the air-fryer for around 8 minutes and 180 degrees and Voila, a side dish is complete. A lazy but healthier-choice option for a meal.

4. Air-Fryer Roasted Duck Leg

Biting into this tasty and tender duck leg, you would never guess that this was prepared in an air-fryer. The process of air-frying gives the roasted duck leg a certain crispiness that may even surpass the traditional method of roasting.

For this recipe, marination is key. We recommend marinating the duck leg with a mix of salt, 5 spice powder and white pepper. For the best results, marinate for at least an hour before frying. Serve with rice and cucumber for a homemade Kopitiam meal.

This delicious and appetizing side dish really brings out the best flavours of belacan. If you’re a belacan fan, this is a must-try. Simply marinate the chicken wings and drumsticks in the homemade belacan paste, which consists of belacan, white pepper, coriander, oil, salt and sugar. Let it sit for 2 hours before tossing in the air-fryer at 190 degrees celsius for 15 to 20 minutes.

Alternatively, this recipe also provides the steps to fry the chicken wings in a pan. Regardless of which method you use, you can be sure you’ll end up with addictive fried chicken with a savoury and spicy kick.

8. Hainanese Chicken Rice

Many of us grew up eating yummy Hainanese Chicken Rice from hawker centres and food courts. But did you know that you can actually recreate this dish at home, using just a rice cooker?

The secret of cooking this fragrant chicken rice lies in the technique of cooking the rice with chicken broth, garlic, ginger and spring onions, which infuses the rice with an umami flavour! Using a rice cooker to steam the chicken also makes the meat really tender and preserves its taste.

And you can’t have chicken rice without Chicken Rice Chilli. Spice up this local classic with our easy, 5-minute chilli recipe!
