Stir Fried Lala – 蒜炒啦啦

Guys this is a super simple , yet really satisfying recipe that you can complete in 10 minutes!

10 minutes? Yes we kid you not! Get your clams (lala) stir-fried with ginger, garlic, and chili padi, and finish it off with that splash of hua tiao wine on a hot wok! It’s the perfect way to bring out the flavor of the clams that we all love.

Combining the clams with the aromatics makes it so darn good, and goes so well with your favourite BEER!

Ingredients

  1. 500g clams (washed and cleaned)

  2. 2 stalks spring onions

  3. 2-4 chili padi (adjust to level of spiciness)

  4. 1 tbsp minced ginger

  5. 1 tbsp minced garlic

  6. 2 tbsp oil

  7. 1 tbsp sesame oil

  8. 1-2 tbsp light soy sauce

  9. 2 tbsp hua tiao wine

  10. ½ tsp salt

  11. ½ tsp sugar

Instructions

  1. Chop 2 stalks spring onions

  2. Cut 2-4 chili padi in to slices

  3. Heat 2 tbsp oil in wok

  4. Add 1 tbsp minced ginger,

  5. 1 tbsp minced garlic and chili padi slices

  6. Stir fry until fragrant

  7. Add 500g clams

  8. Season with 1 tbsp sesame oil,

  9. 1-2 tbsp light soy sauce,

  10. 2 tbsp hua tiao wine,

  11. ½ tsp salt and ½ tsp sugar

  12. Stir fry and toss

  13. Cover for 30 secs once all the clams are open they are ready

  14. Serve with chopped spring onions
