Prawn fritters with Vitagen Mustard Honey Dip

Talk about simple yet delicious party food. This satisfying snack can be made using in under 30 minutes with less than five ingredients!

Everyone loves crunchy prawns coated in a crispy outer crust.

This time round, instead of dunking the prawn fritters in typical calorie-laden mayonnaise, we made a healthier dip using MARIGOLD Non Fat Yogurt and Vitagen Less Sugar. Add that to the heavenly duo of honey and mustard and your party is good to go!

  1. 1 teaspoon salt

  2. 1 tablespoon white ground pepper

  3. 4 tablespoons rice flour

  4. 1 beaten egg

  5. 15 medium sized prawns, peeled and remove the heads

  6. 1 cup panko bread crumbs

  7. Dip:


  9. 1 bottle of VITAGEN LESS SUGAR

  10. 1 tablespoon honey

  11. 1 tablespoon mustard


  1. Mix the salt, rice flour and white pepper together. In a shallow plate, place the flour salt pepper mixture. In another shallow plate, beat one egg. And in the third shallow plate, place the cup of panko breadcrumbs.

  2. Mix the prawns in the flour salt mix, then coat it with beaten egg, and the bread crumbs. Place the breaded prawns on to the plate, and either air fry them, or deep fry them until golden brown

  3. Mix the above for the dip and serve with the prawn fritters
