Peter’s Butchery started out as a meat stall in Cuppage Centre in the 1970s and was known as the first butchery to cater to Western expatriates in Singapore. The original butcher and owner Mr. Peter Lee sold the business to Supreme Australian Meats Ptl Ltd in 1987 when it was located at Jalan Merah Saga, and continued to work there until 1998. He still helped out during busy times at Holland Grove Road shop for many years before finally retiring.
Now setting up at 32 Siglap Drive, Peter’s Butchery supplies a wide range of meats to restaurants and pubs wholesale. They also hold the agency rights for the well-known Vili’s Gourmet Pies from Australia and supplies them to supermarkets, pubs, cafes, schools and corporate functions. Pie warmers are also made available for various events.
Peter’s Butchery continues to provide home delivery services to expatriates and locals with a wide range of beef, lamb, pork and chicken products. A special barbecue list with marinated meats is also available, along with Aussie beef sausages. They also offer a list of seafood products along with quality wines from South Australian wine regions of Wrattonbully (McKenzie Wines) and the Limestone Coast (Digiorgio Family Wines).
